Special yoga events are a great way to try something NEW on your paddle board! Throughout the season you’ll see a variety of unique experiences on our schedule that differ from our regularly scheduled offerings. Typically, these experiences are longer and weave in a special theme or teaching style. Many of our yoga workshops are offered in partnership with one of our talented instructors or another local yoga or fitness studio!

Experience something new with this class that offers a little bit of everything! Strengthen with a thoughtful combination of movements from power yoga and pilates. Balance and stretch your body with gentle yoga poses. Relax with the ebb and flow of the open water.

We’re thrilled to introduce this special experience in collaboration with Allison Meyer, who offers Reiki Infused Sound Baths. We’ll start with gentle yoga poses to ground into your body and surroundings. Then, we’ll ease into a floating meditation to the sounds of crystal singing bowls. Let your thoughts drift away and allow yourself to be guided by the vibrations and sensations of the bowls.

Full Moon SUP Yoga

Explore your inner world under the stars with this special Moonrise Paddle and Yoga Nidra experience! We will begin just after sunset for a short paddle to watch the moonrise from the water. Once anchored, you will be guided through some gentle stretching to prepare your body for a laying down Yoga Nidra meditation in the light of the full moon.

Bending Bodhi ~ Sup Skills + Flow

Try something new with the support of your Bending Bodhi community! Kick-off your weekend with this special SUP Skills + Yoga Flow for Bending Bodhi members and friends. We’ll get started with on-land and on-water paddling instruction to get our sea legs as we paddle to our anchoring spot. Once anchored, we’ll dive into an All-Levels SUP Yoga class. Once you find your flow, you’ll have the chance to try more challenging postures! We’ll wrap-up with a nice paddle back to shore.

 

Paddle Board Pilates

Strengthen and lengthen on the sea! Using grounded, bodyweight exercises, this class will focus on alignment and stability, while also building core and glute strength. Class ends with a relaxation in beautiful surroundings. Led by Instructor Kate O’Dowd, trained in Yoga, Yoga Sculpt and Mat Pilates! No experience necessary.
