Special Events & Workshops

Special yoga events are a great way to try something NEW on your paddle board! Throughout the season you’ll see a variety of special SUP Yoga & Fitness classes on our schedule that differ from our regularly scheduled offerings. Typically, these experiences are longer and weave in a special theme or teaching style. Many of our yoga workshops are offered in partnership with one of our talented instructors or another local yoga or fitness studio!

Intro to SUP Yoga WOrkshop

2 hour workshop. All equipment included!

Launch your paddle board yoga practice in a supportive, small-group class created especially for beginners! Learn all about paddle boarding and explore yoga poses with step-by-step guidance. Become comfortable flowing on your board and lay a solid foundation for your new practice. Class is limited to 10 participants.

Full Moon SUP Yoga

Tuesday, Aug 1 @ 8:30 PM

90 min experience. All equipment included!

Explore your inner world under the stars with this special Moonrise Paddle and Yoga Nidra experience! We will begin just after sunset for a short paddle to watch the moonrise from the water. Once anchored, you will be guided through some gentle stretching to prepare your body for a laying down Yoga Nidra meditation in the light of the full moon. Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice in which your physical body is guided into the deepest states of relaxation while your mind remains fully aware. You will leave feeling rested, restored, and reconnected with yourself.

 

Club Pilates ~ Sunset SUP Yoga

Try something new with the support of your Club Pilates community! Kick-off your weekend with this special Sunset SUP Yoga class for Club Pilates members and friends. We’ll get started with on-land and on-water paddling instruction to get our sea legs as we paddle to our anchoring spot. Once anchored, we’ll dive into an All-Levels SUP Yoga class. We’ll wrap-up with a sweet sea-vasana under the setting sun and a relaxing paddle back to shore.

Bending Bodhi ~ Sup Skills + Flow

90 min experience. All equipment included!

Try something new with the support of your Bending Bodhi community! Kick-off your weekend with this special SUP Skills + Yoga Flow for Bending Bodhi members and friends. We’ll get started with on-land and on-water paddling instruction to get our sea legs as we paddle to our anchoring spot. Once anchored, we’ll dive into an All-Levels SUP Yoga class. Once you find your flow, you’ll have the chance to try more challenging postures! We’ll wrap-up with a nice paddle back to shore.

 

Paddle Board Barre

Thursday, August 24 @ 6:30 PM (Sunset)

90 min class. All equipment included.

Take your shake to the sea with this Sunset SUP Barre class! You will sweat. You will shake. And then you will relax completely in beautiful surroundings. This class is led by SEAVASANA Founder, Alexandra Hampton. Meet us at the floating barre!
